Extensive pre-production concept styling was undertaken using 'Alias' photo-realistic computer generated imaging software to guarantee that every detail of Britain's latest taxi was 'fit for purpose' and aesthetically pleasing for both passengers and drivers alike, prior to production-line manufacture of this exciting new cab.
Mechanical engineering development benefited from the very latest 'Catia V5' 3D CAD program allowing TW200's design team to manipulate and integrate the hundreds of separate bespoke TW components on screen ahead of production sign-off.
Futuristic electronic interfaces were specifically developed for TW200 to seamlessly integrate with the OEM's own unique vehicle CANBUS architecture.
Crash & Safety Systems were optimised to meet full European M1 Type Approval requirements using Advanced Predictive Computer Generated Analysis to greatly enhance and improve crash protection for drivers, passengers and pedestrians alike.
Finally, a comprehensive Testing & Type Approval Program was undertaken jointly by M.I.R.A, the UK's leading automotive testing facility and the V.C.A., the Vehicle Certification Agency who awarded TW200 with full European Whole Vehicle M1 Type Approval as a purpose built taxi.
